About the Dawson Creek Muncipal Library
The Dawson Creek Public Library is a great resource with 60,000 general interest and recreational titles for all ages. We also have subscriptions to over 100 magazines and newspapers. The library is the place to go if you're looking for phone books, government publications, or business, legal and career information. For those who are interested in local history, the Calverley Collection contains a wealth of information on Dawson Creek and North-Eastern British Columbia.
There is a large collection of large print and audio books available for loan. As well, we have a varied collection of musical cassettes, CDs and many types of videos. There is also a paperback exchange available for members of the community who wish to bring in one or more of their own paperbacks and take the same number home.
As services to the community, the Dawson Creek Public Library offers monthly deliveries of books and audio books to the homebound. There are also many programs offered throughout the year such as the pre-school story time, the summer reading club, and seniors' programs available to our patrons
