The Dawson Creek Public Library is home to the Calverley Collection.
2014 Summer Reading Club
The 2014 Summer Reading Club 'Funny Business' kicks off July 2 and runs all summer long until our pizza lunch on August 22. Children 14 and younger can sign up to read or be read to and win prizes this summer. We have special event days planned as well as crafts days and storytime picnics at the library. Lots of fun for all.
The club table will be open July 2 to August 22:
Mondays from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Saturdays and Sundays.
2014 Teen Summer Challenge
Are you a teen looking for something fun to do this summer? The library is once again holding its Teen Summer Challenge. Beginning July 2 and continuing until August 22, teens between the ages of 12 and 18 can pick up a challenge sheet at the library. For every challenge completed you will receive a ballot for a weekly gift card draw. There are 26 challenges in all and are great fun. Beat summer boredom with the Teen Summer Challenge!
